Dry-Mark's Proven Water Damage Restoration Process:
1. Map Moisture
Our water restoration experts start by inspecting the damaged area to determine loss with both non-penetrating and penetrating moisture meters.
2. Review Emergency Work Order Agreement
We'll issue an “Emergency Work Order Agreement” that, once signed, will authorize Dry-Mark as your preferred restoration company to perform necessary work and bill your insurance company. We do not collect any deductible owed at this time.
3. Begin Dry Down
Each water restoration plan is custom designed to return the area to its original condition through the use of proven industry techniques, which typically include:
- Open affected ceilings and walls
- Remove porous and hazardous materials
- Place dehumidifiers and air movers
- Remove molding, wet pad or carpet, and insulation
- Treating damage with eco-friendly anti-microbial agents
- Drill holes in walls
4. Monitor and Test Pre-Loss Moisture Level
Our water remediation equipment will be left on site for 3-5 days. Depending on the job, we may check in to perform moisture readings or adjust equipment. Dry-Mark restoration company will conduct a final moisture test and inspect the affected areas to ensure the drying process is complete.
5. Prepare and Deliver Estimate
Most insurance policies mandate that we mitigate damages immediately, so no estimates for water damage restoration and reconstruction are required up front. Within 24-hours of our initial response, our water damage estimator will come to your home and prepare a full water damage assessment detailing the scope of work for your home restoration.
